MONA “S/T”
Tags: album packaging, mona, nashville, nick brown, self titled, Vinyl, zion noiz
This is the artwork for MONA’s debut album… we used a good number of Nick’s old family photos mixed with a bunch of other photos we found… comes with a giant 24″x24″ poster with lyrics and giant cover art on the other side. If you’ve been watching any commercials lately you’ve heard some of the hits.

coyote bones “niabrara”

I play drumbs in this band. One of my very bestest friends, David Matysiak, has been doing Coyote Bones for something like 6 years now. Our funny gal pal, Heather Kemp (of Oh! Dorian), plays with us as well. This is the second Coyote Bones album but the first with this lineup. The album art concept was David’s, i laid it out and took the cover/back photo… the ever talented Emily B. Hall did the inside photos. Katie Bell Moore (another talented photog) is the model on the cover. You’ll like this record… how couldn’t you?
Jet By Day / the Maginot Line “Split 7 Inch”

When i did this 7″ design back in late 2002 or early 2003, i was just learning how to use photoshop again (i had used a super early version at a journalism camp in high school) and really was clueless. i didn’t own a computer and was on what was pretty much the Jet By Day communal pc in their house. It was a learning experience and i’m still proud of the final product. There are, of course, some things that i would change if i had to do it over, but I still think that its a pretty cool and unique 7″ package. For the record, I’m a little embarrassed about the oversight on the label. i haven’t made that mistake since.
